let me tell you this. I APPLUADE HIM. its about time someone took pitchers PURPOSLY throwing at hitters, into their own hands. see now the majors will lay some law down about how if youre a hitter and go after the pitcher with a bat then you’ll be banned for life (or something) but AS ALWAYS IN AMERICAN SOCIETY the league won’t put ANY responsiblity on players who actually INSTIGATE the situation.

THERE IS NO PLACE IN BASEBALL FOR PITCHERS TO BE THROWING AT PLAYERS BECAUSE THE PLAYER HIT A HOME RUN OFF OF THE PITCHER -IF BASEBALL WANTS TO SET A GOOD EXAMPLE(instead of using this whole steroids crap) IT SHOULD START WITH PITCHERS WHO THROW AT HITTERS.

It makes no sense to me. Most assault weapons are less powerful than hunting rifles, and aren’t even the choice weapon of criminals (.20% are used in all violent crimes and a mere 1% in gun crimes). Not to mention that criminals don’t care about following the laws. They will still have weapons, one way or the other. Banning assault weapons is absolutely idiotic to me. I have every right to own the AR-15 in my safe. What logical purpose is there for banning assault weapons when so few are even used in crimes? What’s next? Is there going to be a ban on all guns? Knives? Baseball bats? Staplers? A sock with a bar of soap in it? Anything can be used as a weapon, so where are the dems in office going to draw the line?
Jindal/Palin- And why should I get punished because of their crappy parenting? I’ve been around guns since the day I was born, and I’ve never killed anybody.
GB- It looks like you need to go back to first grade seeing as how you can’t form a proper sentence. Oh wait, you probably are in first grade.
Jindal/Palin-No more like 8 or 9, but yet I haven’t killed anybody. That probably has to do with the fact that when I was young, my dad taught me how to responsibly handle a gun. I have handled them for years, and have never had any kind of accident.
Volleyballchick- First of all, you say you have no problem with pistols. Assault weapons is just a broad term that includes certain pistols and shotguns, as well as rifles. I have an AR-15 for target practice as well as protection. Assault weapons are great to use for target practice to improve aim for hunting, so a precise kill shot can be made that will not cause the animal to suffer.
Rurouni79- I can get a 1 inch group easily with my Bushmaster. They are very good for target practice.

Hi im a sophmore about to start highschool, and play for the JV team, and i just bought the new demerini m2m bat. Unwrapped it and all. WIll I still be able to use it this season? its aluminum, not composite BESR Certified and all that. Im just wondering if thats still legal and what isnt legal anymore for highschool ball. Also, if a sticker is needed for it to be certified could i send in the bat and get a new one or how would that work. Thanks.

Composite barrel bats have recently been banned in the High School level game, and I’m looking for the alloy that performs the best. I can’t buy every bat out there to see which is the best and I have only tried so many. Please answer out of experience actually hitting with the bat yourself. Price doesn’t matter.

composite bats are going to be banned for high school baseball next year, so I wanted to know if my Red exo grid bat would be banned. It does not say on the bat if it is composite and I cant really find if it is a composite bat because it is old……..(I don’t agree with the timing of this switch to aluminum only, I just bought the bat two months ago, and now I might have to buy a new one. LUCKY ME

I just bought a brand new baseball bat and I don’t know if it will be legal or not for next year, it’s a -3 and is composite and i have heard rumors that the Wisconsin high school baseball is going to ban composite bats. if anyone knows anything to help me out please help.

I am 14 and i am 5′ 8” and 150 lbs. i need some recommendation for what bat i should get. i am currently using a -5 stealth imx (2009). I would prefer an alloy (metal) bat vs. composite because of the impending composite ban in high school. Thank you.
