I am 14 and i am 5′ 8” and 150 lbs. i need some recommendation for what bat i should get. i am currently using a -5 stealth imx (2009). I would prefer an alloy (metal) bat vs. composite because of the impending composite ban in high school. Thank you.

i’m also 14 and about the same size as you. i swing a -5 (32 27) H2 Hybrid. i love it. for freshman year ill probably get the same thing in a -3. hope this helps
fukk -5 use a -3. easier to drop bombs. Im a freshman in high school and dropped nine bombs this season. im on varsity lol
You should use a wood bat if possible. They harder to hit far and can break but make your swing faster and give you a good batting stance.
Anything Easton or Louisville makes will work. for your size and weight I would recommend 32/29, you might even want to look into a wood bat for 40/50 dollars and mix it in once in awhile, as it seems HS ball is headed that way.
