4 years ago, one child died of cardiac arrest when he was hit by a baseball off of an aluminum bat.
Who elects these nanny-state legislators?
At what point do the responsible normals of society stand up and say "enough is enough"?
For those of you who love the nanny-state, do you suppose that when our lives are legislated as thoroughly as they can be, everyone will only die of natural causes?

I believe that these kind of "Ethical" laws are going to be the down fall of america. No longer is it the Christmas season but the holiday season. We are training a whole generation of kids that will never experience being a child for the fact that the gov’t have to protect them from every thing. The reason that all these stupid laws get past is because it seems that every one in america is out to make a quick buck sueing everyone for any reason. "black lady spills coffee on her self awards millions" "robber hurts him self robbing a house sues owner", The sad part is that its a jury of our peers that are awarding these riduculus amounts for people sueing. This country needs to look at what the real problems are and to start actually reforming area that need reform.
Hate to break it to you but they’re allready banned in parts of California.
Ever read 1984 by George Orwell?
I never liked the idea of aluminum bats but this is wacked on every level I can think of.
It shouldnt ban the aluminum bat. Many baseball organizations are looking to ban them but it shouldnt be a government decision.
So they’re saying if the ball had been hit with a wood bat he wouldn’t have died?
