What do you mean still a good idea? It was never a good idea to pay doctors any less then what they make now.
When someone busts their but to get through med school and is around $100 grand in school debt after the fact and dedicates their whole LIFE to being a doctor no they shouldn’t get paid a low salary. People need to be greatful there are folks that actually do that work to help them and they deserve the money they get. Ayone that doesn’t think so then why don’t you just never see a doctor again? I mean if you are so ungreatful for the work they put in to make sure you stay alive.

It’s not just doctors who are effected, it’s nurses, and even psychologists (which I’m studying to become). So you are screwing a whole bunch of people who took the time and effort to get a professional degree past a bachlors which in this country not a whole heck of a lot of people do. Most people don’t even go to college then you get people out there who want to lower people with post grad degree’s salaries because they think they make too much. Well how come you never made the effort to get the degree?

The bill eventually will cause doctors to get aid less and there will be a problem since there is a shortage of doctors. We most likely will face the same problems as Canada, doctors will get paid less, then move off to work for private insurance companies or move elsewhere lowering the amount of doctors that work with the national health care system and then just like Canada it will cause a major wait list for everything. And since we already have a shortage of doctors we are pretty much already there.
