You mean like the 17 of 22 reconciliation bills that have been backed by Republicans since 1980? No.
But I wish it were. People like me who work hard and can afford care should get it and people who can’t afford it should not. That’s just how it should be; free market capitalism, just like the republicans like it. I want to haggle over a triple bypass and go with the lowest bidder. And death panles would be swell; they can dole out the meds to people like me who pay taxes and have money left over for bribery. Pure Americana. Sure, it will be tough on the people living in under-performing, government-dependent red states, but screw em… its what they claim to want and I’m all for it.
