I’ve heard people try to say that widows and children of soldiers, fallen or otherwise, are getting the shaft with the new health care bill. I’m in the middle of reading it, but I haven’t gotten there yet. Can someone tell me what the real deal is with this? So far, I’ve only seen improvements made with the new bill, so I’m finding this hard to believe.

TRICARE has been exempted from the new health care bill/law. Widows and kids are treated the same as they were. The kids are also cut off at age 23 from coverage (if they were college students), whereas the new bill/law has them covered until later (26).
