I would just like to know why republicans don’t approve of the health care bill, because all I’ve heard from them on the news have been false statements and scare tactics. I’m not a democrat either so please don’t come to me with nonsense. I would just like to get a clearer understanding of both sides’ stances on the issue, because the key to compromise is understanding your colleagues.

They think that anyone who doesn’t have health insurance doesn’t want to work, or simply doesn’t want it.
And they realize that if tax dollars are used to support health care then it won’t be there to pay for their tax cuts.
